Genre Research: Baby Driver

What elements of the genre have that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have?

The movie Baby Driver is an action packed film that has robberies, car chases, gun fights, fighting, stunts, and many more action movie elements. It is a very intense movie with lots of drama and stories. There is also "good guys" and "bad guys", depending on who's perspective you choose to side with. Baby, the main character and get-away driver, is definitely an agonist and is just trying to help everyone with these illegal activities. There is also quite a few antagonist who either want Baby and the crew in jail or dead.

What elements of the genre did the movie have that you liked?

I love action movies because there is so much going on and they are never boring. Specifically about Baby Driver,  I like all the car chases and robberies because they add lots of suspense and intensity to the movie.  Also, the fact that Baby is kind of this mysterious, self-kept character it adds more to unfold. 

What elements of the genre did the movie have that did not appeal to you?

I don't necessarily like that there is so many people against the main characters but at the same time I like it because it adds more drama to the movie. Also, I feel like there could have been so more unpredictable aspects to the heists.
